Real-world history
A church rebuilt in its present form in 1776 by Lorenzo Boschetti and now deconsecrated and used for exhibitions. Its façade on Campo San Barnaba became the outside of the Venice library; the library interior was a studio set.

Admission: The square and the façade are public. Admission to the interior depends on the current exhibition, so check before you go.
Parking & accessibility: No cars in Venice; take the vaporetto to Ca' Rezzonico, a few minutes' walk away.
