A long Atlantic beach under the Downhill Demesne clifftop temple. Used as Dragonstone’s shore for Stannis’s landing and Lord-of-Light rites in Season 2.

Logistics & accessibility

Admission: Beach is free. National Trust charges for the demesne / temple grounds.

Parking & accessibility: Downhill Beach car park (drive-on at low tide in places) and Bishop’s Gate lot.

Best time to visit: Low tide for the full strand. Sunset under the temple.
