Real-world history

Built in 1911 as an apartment hotel, later a grand hotel, government offices and tax authority. It was renamed Cumberland Hotel Brecker for filming in 2004 and has since been converted into apartments with shops on the ground floor.

Admission: Exterior only for the residential parts. Ground-floor shops and restaurants are open to the public.
