Real-world history

A pothole arch whose larger opening is about 32 m high, the tallest in the park. The opening of Last Crusade was filmed in the park, with young Indy's scout troop riding through the area and Indy running down the slope in front of the arch.

Logistics & accessibility

Admission: National Park entrance fee applies. In recent seasons Arches has used a timed-entry reservation system, so check nps.gov/arch before you go. The trail is about 0.8 km round trip.

Parking & accessibility: Double Arch / Windows Section car park; it fills by mid-morning.

Best time to visit: Sunrise or late afternoon, outside the summer heat.
