Real-world history
Mineral Wells grew into a spa town on the fame of its mineral water. In September 2006 the crew spent three days in town, filming local businesses, the business district and the Brazos River for an episode that recast the town as small-town Arizona. Which episode it appears in isn't confirmed; local reports point to the season's eighth.
