Real-world history

The limestone Azure Window collapsed in a 2017 storm, but the Dwejra inland sea, Fungus Rock and cliffs remain. Season 1 used the arch and shoreline as the Dothraki wedding camp by the summer sea.

Logistics & accessibility

Admission: Coastal landscape is free. Inland Sea boat trips and the nearby visitor area have small fees.

Parking & accessibility: Paid car park above Dwejra Bay.

Best time to visit: Shoulder seasons; summer is hot and busy. Sunset over the remaining stacks is the postcard shot.
