Real-world history

Tidal peninsula off Newborough Warren. Season 2 used the dunes for Addam of Hull and Seasmoke. Season 3 scaled it into Driftmark's shore for the Battle of the Gullet and reported dragonseed landings — hundreds of extras in June 2025.

Admission: Beach and island free. Pay-and-display in Newborough Forest. Island cut off at high spring tides.

Parking & accessibility: Newborough Forest main car park; 20–40 min walk to the island.

Best time to visit: Low tide. Summer weekends are packed; go early.
