A remote stretch of Malta's rugged western coast near Dingli. Mtaħleb's terraced valley and sheer limestone cliffs have been farmed for centuries and remain one of the island's least-developed landscapes.

Admission: Free, unrestricted open countryside with no tickets or opening hours. Trails can be exposed and windy; wear sturdy footwear.
Parking & accessibility: Small informal parking area near the Mtaħleb chapel. Onward paths are unpaved and uneven along the cliff edge, not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
Best time to visit: Sunset, when the cliffs face the open Mediterranean. Leave time to walk back before dark; there is no lighting.
