Real-world history

A tide-washed islet chapel reached by a stone stair-bridge of about 240 steps. Season 7 used it as Dragonstone’s landing — Daenerys comes home — with VFX replacing the hermitage with the Targaryen keep.

Admission: Free but timed-entry pass is mandatory in peak season via the Bizkaia tourism site. Chapel hours limited.

Parking & accessibility: Official lots on the clifftop; then a walk down and across.

Best time to visit: May, June, September. Book the pass. Footwear with grip; the stairs are exposed.
