Real-world history

A working cattle ranch on about 4,000 acres of the Kaʻaʻawa, Kualoa and Hakipuʻu valleys. Its open valley under the Koʻolau cliffs has been Isla Nublar in several Jurassic films.

Logistics & accessibility

Admission: Private ranch. Film sites are only seen on its paid guided tours, including a Jurassic-themed tour; book ahead and check the current tour list.

Parking & accessibility: Free visitor lot at the ranch center.

Best time to visit: Morning tours, before clouds settle on the cliffs.
