The stops
- Mtaħleb Cliffs & Valley — The Dothraki camp outside Pentos. Free open countryside; small informal parking by the chapel.
- Dingli Cliffs — Malta's highest sea cliffs, ten minutes' drive from Mtaħleb, with waymarked paths. Iron Warrior shot here.
- Chapel of St Mary Magdalene — The small chapel on the cliff edge at Dingli.
Planning it
Go for sunset, when the cliffs face the open sea, and leave time to walk back before dark: there is no lighting. The roads are narrow, so take it slowly.
